Scott Grimm is a Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the University of Rochester. He specializes in formal and lexical semantics along with computational approaches to meaning. Much of his recent work has focused on understanding topics in grammatical number, such as the count/mass distinction and plurality. He has also been engaged in the description of the Dagaare language (Gur, spoken in Ghana), completing a Dagaare-English dictionary together with Mark Ali of University of Education, Winneba, Ghana.
