We have received precisely one notification intention to submit a proposal for ACL-IJCNLP 2015, from the Chinese CIPS, for a conference in Beijing. The email is included here.

     Dear Prof. Gertjan van Noord,

     On behalf of the local CL society in China, we want to submit a

proposal to host the ACL-IJCNLP 2015. Most of the professors, researchers, and PhD students in CL in mainland China are members of Our society, namely, the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS). If we could host ACL-IJCNLP 2015 in Beijing, China, then it's the first time ACL be hold in Mainland China. A bid team for ACL-IJCNLP 2015 has formed in Beijing, China as followings:

Local Computational Linguistics community : Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS)

Local University: Tsinghua University, Peking University, and so on

Local arrangements team: co-chair 

               Le Sun, Prof. of  Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences
               Vice-president & General Secretary of CIPS

               Yang Liu, Associate Prof. of Tsinghua University
