Program Committee

The following points show the current status of PC:

1) All area chairs have been fixed. Please see the attachement. And all area chairs recruited reviewers aready. We are ready to process submissions.

2) CFP has been made and uploaded on the conference web page ([2]).

3) The START system for papers has been set up and it works well now. We have received 32 submissions, but 3 submissions were withdrawn.

4) We are considering to invite keynote speakers now and over 10 candidates are listed.

Generally, everything on PC issue is well prepared.

Sponsorship

Yuji: "The local sponsorship chair has already started call-for-sponsorship to major Chinese IT/Net companies. I am trying to find another international sponsorship committee member."


Local Organization

1) We already set up the ACL2015 website. http://www.acl2015.org/index.html

Add new CFP, and so on. If you have any suggestions for future update, please send to us.

2) We have sent out the CFP worldwide, and to all the members of CIPS.

3) The local organizer, that is CIPS, has paid the first phrase deposits (about 25,000USD) to CNCC (conference venue).

4) We have already discussed with a few local companies for donations to sponsor our conference.

5) We held a local arrangement committee meeting in the end of January.

Four new LC members added. Now the LC members are Le Sun (Co-Chair), Yan g Liu (Co-Chair), Erhong Yang (Volunteer Co-Ordinator), Zhiyuan Liu (Webmaster), Shumin Shi (AV and space management), Wenbin Jiang (AV and space management), Dong Yu (Entertainment), and Yufeng Chen (Registration). We have proposed several plans for the social event and exec++ dinner. The LC will evaluate the proposed locations in March. Discussion with sponsorship and publicity chairs. Publicity chairs will help us edit the conference handbook.

6) We have contacted with Priscilla and will pull together an overall budget of estimates costs in March.
