Report by Lluís Màrquez
The winning bid for EACL 2017 was decided on April 30, 2015. After a very close competition, the selected bid is:
Paolo Rosso (chair), Francisco Casacuberta (co-chair), Jon Ander Gómez (co-chair) Universitat Politècnica de València, PRHLT Research Centre (https://www.prhlt.upv.es) Valencia, Spain
The EACL conference will take place in April 2017.
The next steps in the timeline will be carried out in due time, e.g., signing the contract between local organizers and ACL, deciding the General Chair, etc.
