1. Publicity and Communications
AFNLP has compiled an Asian NLP Expert List with more than 130 entries. The list was shared with ACL-IJCNLP-2015 and NLPCC2015. It is available to members upon request. In addition to the list, members, who would like to seek support in terms of publicity or awards from AFNLP, are welcome to submit proposals to the AFNLP Conference Coordination Committee (CCC).
2. Officers
Pushpak Bhattacharyya, the President of ACL for 2016, also serves as ACL liaison officer to AFNLP.
Haifeng WANG, serves as the AFNLP liaison officer to the ACL.
AFNLP has nominated Key-Sun Choi (Korea) join the ACL International Sponsorship Committee.
3. Asian Linguistic Resources
Key-Sun Choi (Korea) has volunteered to lead the AFNLP Asian Linguistic Resource Initiative.
4. IJCNLP 2017
The conference will be held in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Taipei, during November 20-24 2017.
AFNLP would like to invite members of AFNLP to submit proposals to co-locate their workshops/symposiums/conferences with IJCNLP-2017.
