Article naming conventions

Hi Pdturney, I was wondering if you wouln't mind me moving most (or all) of the articles like Software - Semantics to Semantics software. This might read a little easier, and is more in line with WP naming conventions. Thanks. --Jonsafari 11:52, 8 November 2006 (EST)

I'm trying to rename Software - Tools and Software - Applications, but I can't clearly see what kinds of software these two articles are supposed to list. Any ideas? --Jonsafari 12:09, 8 November 2006 (EST)

License

It isn't posted clearly what license the content of this site is under. Could this be clarified? I would guess it would be the GFDL, but if so there should be a note at the bottom of the screen, or on the about page. - Francis Tyers 08:40, 9 November 2006 (EST)

Need a couple pages deleted

I'm not sure who to ask, but I figured you might know. I've merged the vague and meaningless Application software and Software - Tools into Uncategorized software, and I now need the emptied pages to be deleted. Hi. Thanks for the comments. I'll be implementing them over the next couple of days.

I have a somewhat related question for you about wikis. (You have more experience with than I do.) Drago would like to restrict access to the handbook pages to a small group of users. Is this possible in a wiki? If not, my plan was to create a separate wiki. Thanks.

Edits not showing in recentchanges

The only difference between Ahakim and the other users is that he appears as "(book, Sysop)" in the Special:User list. Perhaps the "book" group could be working like the "Bot" group (which hides edits from recent changes) ? - Francis Tyers 14:49, 30 April 2008 (EDT)
