Dongfang Xu, currently a research data scientist from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He received his PhD in information science from the University of Arizona, specializing in information extraction and medical concept normalization. He has prior experience as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School and as a research scientist in an industry research organization. His research focuses on natural language processing and its practical applications in health informatics.
