Hi, Shuly. Thanks for adding to Newsgroups, mailing lists. I don't understand why you put "Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics" in this list. It looks like a conference, not a newsgroup or mailing list. Shouldn't it go under Conferences? --Pdturney 17:49, 3 November 2006 (EST) | Hi, Shuly. + | Hi, again. When I click on the link you added for ACL SIG on Computational Approaches to Semitic Languages, I get a very obnoxious advertisement. I guess you are using a free hosting service that has rather aggressive ads. Why not move the content off this nasty ad-based hosting service and on to the ACL Wiki? --Pdturney 18:01, 3 November 2006 (EST)

+ | Hi, again. I deleted both "Formal Grammar" and "Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics", because they appear to be conferences, not newsgroup or mailing lists. If you wish, you may add them to Conferences. I changed the link for "Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics" so that it goes straight to the mailing list, bypassing the aggressive ads. --Pdturney 18:19, 3 November 2006 (EST)

+ | Hi, again. I see now. "http://www.semitic.tk/" is a frame around "http://cl.haifa.ac.il/semitic/" and "http://www.formalgrammar.tk/" is a frame around "http://cs.haifa.ac.il/~shuly/fg06/". So you gain a nice looking URL, but at the cost of very obnoxious advertising. The gain is definitely not worth the cost. --Pdturney 18:41, 3 November 2006 (EST)

Hi, Shuly. Thanks for adding to Newsgroups, mailing lists. I don't understand why you put "Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics" in this list. It looks like a conference, not a newsgroup or mailing list. Shouldn't it go under Conferences? --Pdturney 17:49, 3 November 2006 (EST)

If you want a nice URL for free with no ads, try purl.org. For example, purl.org/peter.turney. --Pdturney 18:47, 3 November 2006 (EST)
