Welcome to the University of Texas Noun Compound Repository! (formerly hosted at UT site)

Welcome to the UT noun compound repository! It is a repository of noun compound data sets that can be used to empirically evaluate noun compound interpretation/classification algorithms.

The table below summarizes the data sets in the repository. You are welcome to link your own noun compound data and edit the content of this page.

If you have any publications based on data obtained from this repository, then, in your acknowledgments, please note the assistance you received by using this repository. This will help others to obtain the same data sets and replicate your experiments. We suggest the following pseudo-APA reference format for referring to this repository:

Fan, J. & Porter, B. (2006). UT Repository of noun compounds, http://www.cs.utexas.edu/~mfkb/nn. Austin, TX: University of Texas, Department of Computer Sciences.

Here is a Bib Tex citation as well:

If you have any data that you'd like to contribute, or if you have any suggestions please email them to jfan@cs.utexas.edu

Thank you.
