I see that my blog has been removed and I am perhaps being counted as a spammer for including my blog on this Wiki. Do the blogs have to be exclusively about Computational Linguistics? Because my blog does happen to have some posts very much about CL. And I am very much into CL.

There is some more content that I had posted. You might want to take out that too, while you are on a mission against spam.

:: Hi Eklavya, no I am not going to block you for posting these comments (why would I?). The ACL wiki is about computational linguistics and I have checked your blog many times over the last months and I found very little CL content. And I for one would like to keep the ACL wiki focussed. Others might disagree. A wiki is a wiki, feel free to add your blog again! --[[User:Ioan|Ioan]] 13:51, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi

Hi Ioan! Thanks for your contributions. --Pdturney 09:50, 17 December 2006 (EST)

Hi Pdturney, my pleasure. --Ioan 09:58, 17 December 2006 (EST)

Sysop

Thanks for helping us get rid of spam! You are now a Sysop. This allows you to delete pages and block users. You will see the "block" option in "Recent changes". I find it is easier to block the user first (infinite expiry date) and then delete the page. You will see the "delete" option when you visit the page. --Pdturney 22:01, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

I see the spammers are keeping you busy. Thanks for your help! --Pdturney 09:20, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Spam?

I see that my blog has been removed and I am perhaps being counted as a spammer for including my blog on this Wiki. Do the blogs have to be exclusively about Computational Linguistics? Because my blog does happen to have some posts very much about CL. And I am very much into CL.

Am I now going to be blocked for posting this comment?

There is some more content that I had posted. You might want to take out that too, while you are on a mission against spam.

May be I misunderstood what ACL Wiki was about and I should remove the link to ACL Wiki from my blog too. -- Eklavya 08:17, 08 October, 2008 (IST).

Hi Eklavya, no I am not going to block you for posting these comments (why would I?). The ACL wiki is about computational linguistics and I have checked your blog many times over the last months and I found very little CL content. And I for one would like to keep the ACL wiki focussed. Others might disagree. A wiki is a wiki, feel free to add your blog again! --Ioan 13:51, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
