Googler working on applied machine learning. My academic research includes work on model training and optimization, machine translation, semantic textual similarity, textual entailment and parsing. I am the author of the Stanford Phrasal machine translation system.
Prior to coming to Google, I was a postdoc in the Stanford NLP lab.
