Elliott Ash is Assistant Professor of Economics at University of Warwick. Starting summer 2018, he will join ETH Zurich as Assistant Professor of Law, Economics, and Data Science. Elliott's research focuses on text mining of political and legal documents to understand institutions, judges, and the effects of laws on the economy.

Elliott Ash received his PhD in economics from Columbia University, where he was supervised by Bentley MacLeod, Suresh Naidu, and Massimo Morelli. Before obtaining his PhD, Elliott received a BA in economics, government, and philosophy from University of Texas at Austin, a JD from Columbia Law School, and an LLM in international criminal law from University of Amsterdam.
