I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Linguistics (Seminar für Sprachwissenschaft) at the University of Tübingen, Germany, where I recently completed my PhD in computational historical linguistics. This involved building a large lexicostatistical database (northeuralex.org) and developing ne algorithms for phylogenetic network inference inspired by techniques from causal inference. Additional research interests include typology, computational semantics, and multilingual applications of CL.
