I'm an Assistant Professor at the University at Albany, State University of New York. My research uses eye tracking, ERPs/EEG and computational modeling to study individual differences during reading. More broadly, I also study visual expertise in other complex visual-cognitive tasks, including music reading and chess. I completed my PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Toronto, Canada (in 2013), and an NSERC postdoctoral fellowship (PDF) at the Centre for Vision and Cognition (CVC) at the University of Southampton, U.K.
