Arantza del Pozo is the Director of the Speech and Natural Language Technologies Department at Vicomtech, a leading applied research center in Spain specializing in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. She holds both a Master's degree and a PhD in Speech and Language Technologies from the University of Cambridge. Since joining Vicomtech in 2008 as a principal investigator, she has built and currently leads a team of 25 experts dedicated to advancing and transferring speech and language technologies to industry. Throughout her career, Arantza has coordinated over 40 research projects and contracts at regional, national, and European levels, while contributing as a researcher to many more. Her work includes a patent and over 50 publications in top-tier journals and conferences in the field. Her leadership continues to drive innovation and significant advancements in speech and language technology research and development.
