This software stuff was copied over from The ACL NLP/CL Universe, by the original author, Dragomir Radev. The categories "Tools" and "Applications" come from there. To me, these terms are so vague that they are virtually meaningless. I think they are just another way of saying "miscellaneous". However, I haven't had time to come up with anything better yet. --Pdturney 12:18, 8 November 2006 (EST)
