Munich (Germany) has a large and active community of computational linguists and language technology experts in both industry and academia. Activities comprise speech recognition, synthesis, and dialog, intelligent search, semantic web, machine translation, language learning, and many other areas. In order to stimulate exchange and cooperation between students, researchers, employees, entrepreneurs, and in general anybody interested in or working on the subject, we initiated a regulars' table which meets every 2-3 months and a group in the social network Xing. The regulars' table warmly welcomes new members, meeting dates are posted to the Xing group.
