Zhiheng obtained his PhD degree from University of Edinburgh in 2006. He was a postdoc researcher working on an open domain question answer system at UC Berkeley from 2006 to 2009. He was a Scientist working on natural language processing/web search in Yahoo Labs from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014 he was a senior scientist working on speech recognition, especially on recurrent neural network language modeling. Since 2014 he is a principal architect working on NLP and deep learning in Baidu research USA.
