Dr. Cosmin Adrian Bejan is a computer scientist working in a research area that lies at the intersection of biomedical informatics, natural language processing, and applied machine learning. In his current role as Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Bejan develops advanced data mining technologies for analyzing big collections of medical records to identify phenotypes of interest and to facilitate clinical and translational studies of large patient cohorts.
