I am a Lecturer in the School of Computing, University of Kent. I am member of the Data Science Group. I specialise in Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing. I have obtained my PhD from the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. My PhD thesis focussed on using Bayesian approaches for capturing the semantic nature of the text documents using word order.
