Currently associate professor of linguistics at the University of Kentucky (UKy), I work in data-driven, corpus-based historical sociolinguistics. I am also director of the Collaboratory for Research in Computing for Humanities (RCH) at UKy, and I direct the Linguistic Incubator for Collaborative Digital Research (LINCD Research), a student-focused interdisciplinary research group at UKy.
