Steven Schockaert received his PhD from Ghent University in 2008 and is currently a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science & Informatics at Cardiff University. His research is about reasoning about the kind of messy knowledge that can be found on the web. In particular, his research interests include commensense reasoning, reasoning under uncertainty or inconsistency, information extraction from the web and weighted logics.
