CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS:
 
In the last period, SIGMEDIA was involved in the organization of two 
workshops:
 
    (1) IEEE Tutorial and Research Workshop on Perception in Multimodal 
Dialogue (PIT 2008) in collaboration with SIGDIAL from June 16-18 2008. 
The proceedings will be published in the Springer LNCS series and appear 
in June 2008. As its predecessors in 2002, 2004 and 2006, the workshop 
will take place in Kloster Irsee, Germany.
    (2) AISB Symposium on Multimodal Output Generation in collaboration 
with SIGGEN from April 3-4 2008. As its predecessor, the symposium took 
place in Aberdeen, UK.
 
SIGMEDIA was dissolved end of May 2008.
