Albert Gatt holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Aberdeen. His research focusses on language production by humans and automatic text generation by machines. In his research he is interested in using methods from experimental psycholinguistics, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He has published extensively on NLP and related topics in journals and conferences, and has co-organised a number of events, including the European Natural Language Generation Workshop (ENLG) in Sofia, 2013. He currently holds the position of secretary in the ACL Special Interest Group on Generation (SIGGEN).
