Background
The SIG Officer is one of the three "at-large" member positions on the ACL executive. The SIG officer is in charge of liaising with the ACL SIGs, helping to set up new SIGs and ensuring SIG compliance. The term is three years.
Duties
The main duties of the SIG officer are as follows:
- Facilitate the setting up of new SIGs
- Ensure that all SIGs follow the SIG_Compliance Guidelines
- Ensure that all SIG information on the ACL wiki is correct and up-to-date
- Report on the latest SIG developments at the ACL exec meetings
