Summary

SIGREP is the ACL Special Interest Group on Representation Learning. It seeks to promote research on representation learning in Natural Language Processing, specifically methods for inferring representations from data, as well as studying evaluation and transferability of representations, and organises the annual ACL workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (Repl4NLP).

Membership

Currently, SIGREP has 1500 members.

Board

SIGREP currently has the following officers:

  • President: Isabelle Augenstein
  • Secretary: Anna Rogers

In addition, there is a Senior Organising Committee (SOC), which is responsible for recruiting and selecting organising committee members for SIG events such as RepL4NLP, and advising them during the organisation of the event.

Repl4NLP 2021

The 6th Workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (RepL4NLP) will be hosted by ACL 2021 and held on 5 August 2021. The workshop is being organised by:
