Summary

SIGREP is the ACL Special Interest Group on Representation Learning. It seeks to promote research on representation learning in Natural Language Processing, specifically methods for inferring representations from data, as well as studying evaluation and transferability of representations, and organises the annual ACL workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (Repl4NLP).

Membership

Currently, SIGREP has 2000 members.

Board

SIGREP currently has the following officers:

  • Secretary: Nora Kassner

In addition, there is a Senior Organising Committee (SOC), which is responsible for recruiting and selecting organising committee members for SIG events such as RepL4NLP, and advising them during the organisation of the event.

The next SIGREP board election is due to take place in October 2024.

Repl4NLP 2024

The 9th Workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (RepL4NLP) was co-located with ACL 2024 and held on August 16 2024. The workshop is organised by:
