EACL Sponsorship

No more sponsorship activities have been carried out by EACL since the last report (2015Q3). For 2016, EACL plans to keep sponsoring some students to attend ESSLLI 2016, and maybe other related events as per our sponsorship policy (http://www.eacl.org/page.php?id=Sponsorship). In any case, these will be small amounts. We have to save a substantial part of our money to sponsor the EACL 2017 conference and its associated Student Research Workshop.

EACL shorts

  • EACL has appointed two sponsorship chairs for the ACL International Sponsorship Committee for the period 2016-2017. They are Chris Biemann (Technische Universität Darmstadt) and Suzan Verberne (Radboud University Nijmegen). EACL warmly welcomes the new chairs.
  • The EACL Conference Handbook is now publicly available from the EACL website.
