The ACL 2012 Coordinating Committee received six bids and selected Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, as the site for the 50th Anniversary Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics.
The Local Arrangements chairs are Gary Geunbae Lee (POSTECH) and Jong C. Park (KAIST). The Committee selected the General Chair and Program Chairs as well, and the General Chair selected the remainder of the chairs.
The ACL 2012 web site has details, please see http://www.acl2012.org/.
