WAC-9 Workshop 2014
The yearly meeting of SIGWAC will take place at the 9th Web as Corpus Workshop (WAC-9) on 26 April 2014 in conjunction with the EACL 2014 Conference (Gothenburg, Sweden). It is co-organized by Felix Bildhauer and Roland Schäfer (FU Berlin).
Similar to previous workshops, we expect around 10 paper presentations and 30-40 registered participants. See the WAC-9 homepage for more information and a detailed programme (tba in early March). One theme of this year's workshop will be a discussion on preparing a shared task on pre-processing and linguistic annotation of Web data, to be held in 2015 or 2016, as a successor to the first CLEANEVAL competition organized in 2007.
