Election of 2019 will take place in the fall. The opening positions are VP-elect and member at-large.

The new member at-large will come from the EMEA region, replacing Jennifer Foster, the current SIG Chair. However, according to the resolution passed on May 7[[1]], the new member at-large will not be a SIG chair. Instead, as stated in the resolution, the roles for the members-at-large will be assigned by the current ACL President on an as-needed basis, and may change throughout their terms. These roles will not require specialized knowledge beyond that of a well-informed, active member of the ACL community.
