Ekaterina (Kat) Vylomova is a Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. She holds a PhD in Computer Science obtained from the University of Melbourne. Prior to that, she was a visiting scholar at Montclair State University funded by the Fulbright scholarship. Her research is focused on compositionality modeling for morphology, models for derivational morphology, neural machine translation, and modeling of low-resource languages. She co-organizes SIGTYP workshops (2019--) and SIGMORPHON 2018-- shared tasks on morphological reinflection.
