The Local Arrangements Committee has been working for almost one year on the preparations for the 51st Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL 2013) in Sofia, Bulgaria, August 4-9, 2013. Here is a list of the most important tasks performed by the Local Arrangements Committee.

Design, set up and maintain conference web site

Book and confirm conference venue, including locations for parallel sessions and poster session

Obtain the confirmation that the ACL 2013 will be held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria

Announce the ACL 2013 at the EACL 2012 meeting
