The SIG currently has 116 members and it operated under the following officers:

  • President: Marcello Federico
  • Secretary: Sebastian Stüker

The main activity of the SIG SLT is the organization of the 19th International Conference on Spoken Language Translation (IWSLT, formerly a workshop), - http://iwslt.org/2022 - which includes 8 official shared tasks. The conference took place in May in association with the ACL conference. Elections are expected to be in September 2022.
