2024Q3 Reports: ACL 2026

ACL 2026 will be in the North Americas. We currently have possible venues although it is not determined yet. Our Business Manger, Ms. Jenn Rachford is reaching out to other venues as well. I believe that we can come up with a good process for a call for Bid to simply the bidding process.

We are looking more for CL, NLP, and ACL minded communities who can support and bring funding from either local sponsors or their Tourism/visitor Bureaus, joining with Universities to aid in local assistance with connections for vendors (not professional Conf Organizers or destination management companies).

Again the biggest item we are lookin for is locations with Visitor bureaus that can assist with funding as we bring a conference of 3000-4000 to their area.

The candidates for ACL Conference Chair and PC Chairs are currently being discussed and selected simultaneously.
