Worked with new CL Journal Editor-in-Chief to create ACL Dissertation Award

Last quarter, led the search committee for the Computational Linguistics (CL) Journal's new Editor-in-Chief. Wei Lu (SUTD) was selected as the new EiC candidate and he started his role on Feb 15, 2024. Worked with Wei for last several months to finalize the details of the "ACL Dissertation Award" similar to the thesis awards in many other communities. Will be announced soon.

ACL Cloud GPU program for under-resourced communities

Clarifying bureaucratic and legal steps on the award-based cloud GPU program for under-resourced communities with tech companies and finalized some justifications, selection procedures, and amounts of credits/funding.
