2022Q1 Reports: Member at-large - Asia/Pacific

  • The process of ACL 2022 Test-of-Time paper award nomination started. The committee members (including co-chairs) are determined, and the community nomination has been running. The final selection process will start soon.
  • The committee for proposing the consistent policy on awards in *ACL conferences (e.g. best paper awards) started.
  • The committee for the name change policy started, with the aim to propose the policy and the process for name changes.
  • Communicated with General Chair and relevant chairs of EMNLP 2021 to apply anti-harassment procedures in online conferences. The process and the guideline are almost estabalished, and they will be applied to *ACL conferences in 2022.
  • Started drafting updates of the conference handbook, while collecting further information about online and hybrid conferences is needed.
