2023Q1 Reports: Member at-large - Asia/Pacific

As the conference officer, I worked on the following issues regarding conference organization.

  • Started the process of ACL 2023 Test-of-Time paper award nomination. The co-chairs are determined, and the community nomination has been running. The co-chairs are in the process of selecting nomination committee members.
  • Communicated with General Chairs and relevant chairs of AACL-IJCNLP 2022 and EMNLP 2022 to apply ACL policies, including the anti-harassment policy and the COVID-19 safety policy.
  • Prepared a GitHub repository for the new version of the conference handbook. Conference chairs are supposed to send updates to the handbook to maintain the handbook in a community-driven manner.
