The specialized Natural Language Processing master's program at UC Santa Cruz equips students with the skills and in-depth knowledge needed for a successful career in the rapidly growing NLP field. Over the past year, students have worked in teams mentored by industry experts to develop Capstone projects that address real-world NLP challenges.

About our Workshop:
The NLP M.S. program at UCSC balances theory with practice including a Capstone project that enables students to apply the skills they've acquired in the program to a current, industry-relevant NLP topic. - Interactions: Neural Models of Supertagging for Semantic Role Labeling and Beyond

- Google and UCSC: Multimodal Knowledge Extraction and Question Answering in Farming
The workshop will conclude with a discussion about careers in NLP hosted by our expert NLP Industry Panel.
