Language + Molecules @ ACL 2024 Workshop
Dear colleagues,
You are invited to participate in the shared task “Context24: Evidence and Grounding Context Identification for Scientific Claims” collocated with the 4th Workshop on Scholarly Document Processing (SDP 2024) to be held at ACL 2024. Participants of the competition are also invited to submit papers describing their findings.
All papers must follow the ACL format and conform to the ACL 2024 Submission Guidelines. Papers must be submitted via openreview:

You are invited to participate in ArAIEval Shared Task at the ArabicNLP 2024:
(i) detection of propagandistic textual spans with persuasion techniques identification (unimodal) on Arabic news articles and tweets.
(ii) distinguishing between propagandistic and non-propagandistic memes (multimodal) in Arabic.
The shared task will be held alongside the Second Arabic Natural Language Processing Conference (ArabicNLP 2024), co-located with the ACL2024 Conference in Bangkok, Thailand (11-16 Aug, 2024).
Tasks
MILLing will bring together researchers in linguistics and computational linguistics to discuss learning through linguistic interaction, from the perspectives of both human language acquisition and machine learning. We encourage contributions from the fields of theoretical linguistics, experimental linguistics, pragmatics, computational linguistics, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science.

As part of a proposal to develop the VoxML modeling language into an ISO Standard for the representation of visual information, the 17th Joint ACL-ISO Workshop on Interoperable Semantic Annotation (ISA) is hosting a shared multimodal annotation. The goal of the task is to assess annotation techniques suitable for extracting habitats, affordances, and spatial relations of objects from image data.
