Events
The 12th Web as Corpus Workshop was planned to be co-located with LREC in Marseille. The proposal written by the workshop organisers Adrien Barbaresi (BBAW, Berlin, Germany), Felix Bildhauer (IDS Mannheim, Germany), Roland Schäfer (Humboldt University Berlin, Germany), Egon Stemle (EURAC, Bolzano, Italy) was accepted by the LREC organisers, and the workshop was set to take place on Saturday, 16 May 2020. After the cancellation of LREC and all satellite events due to the Covid-19 outbreak, it was decided to publish the proceedings but not have an online workshop. Nine papers were published and are available in the ACL Anthology.
WAC workshops will most likely be held bi-annually in the future, such that the next one WAC-XIII will take place in 2022.
