IJCNLP-AACL 2025

Conference Coordination Committee: The members of the CCC for IJCNLP-AACL 2025 consist of Sadao Kurohashi (NII, president of AFNLP, serving as the Chair), Jong Park (KAIST), Min Zhang (Harbin Institute of Technology), Liang-Chih Yu (Yuan Ze University), Dong Minghui (COLIPS), and Xuanjing Huang (Fudan University, tentatively representing AACL).

Venue and Dates: The conference will be held in Victor Menezes Convention Centre (VMCC), IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India. The main conference dates are set from December 22 to 24.

Conference Organization: The conference organization structure has been recently finalized. Kentaro Inui from MBZUAI/Tohoku University serves as the General Chair, while Sakriani Sakti from NAIST, Haofen Wang from Tongji University, and Derek Wong from the University of Macau are the Program Chairs.

ARR Integration: IJCNLP-AACL 2025 has joined the ARR family, with the ARR deadline set on June 15. If ARR moves to 5 annual cycles, the organizing team will be informed immediately.

Support to EMNLP 2025

Venue Selection Support: For EMNLP 2025, assistance was provided in recommending a local Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) in China. Site visits were arranged to Suzhou, Shanghai, and Hangzhou. Eventually, Suzhou was selected as the conference venue.

Venue and Date Coordination: Efforts has been made to schedule the venue and dates between EMNLP 2025 and IJCNLP-AACL 2025.

Local Support: If necessary, further local support will be provided for EMNLP 2025.

AACL Exec Election

Ongoing Process: The election of AACL Exec is still in progress. Nomination and election details will be provided upon request.
