Yang Liu is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Technology Department at Tsinghua University. He graduated in 2007 from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His work is mainly on natural language processing and machine translation. He has published over 30 papers in leading NLP/AI journals and conferences and received the COLING/ACL 2006 Meritorious Asian NLP Paper Award. He served as the Tutorial Co-Chair for ACL 2014 and the Local Arrangement Co-Chair for ACL 2015.
