Vera Demberg studied Computational Linguistics at Stuttgart University and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh. She completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2010. From 2010 till 2016, she held a position as an independent research group leader at Saarland University. Since 2016, she has been a professor for Computer Science and Computational Linguistics at Saarland University.
