Two calls for bids were distributed from August to December 2016. The deadline for the notification to submit proposals was January 31, 2017. By this date, we had received two (2) notifications of intention to submit a bid, both of which look like competitive bids. A third tentative bid dropped out at the notification date.

The next steps in the schedule are:

  • March 15, 2017: Draft proposals due
  • Through May 1, 2017: Feedback to bidders
  • May 30, 2017: Final bids due
  • July 1, 2017: Bid selected

The selected location for ACL 2019 will be announced at the ACL 2017 conference (Vancouver, July 30--August 4, 2017).
